Hi...here is where I am going to talk about myself.

I am a wife to a wonderful husband and a mom to our great two sons. My family means the world to me. They let me be myself and allow me to enjoy the things in life that make me happy. I love and appreciate that about them. They are the number one priority in my life.

I have been a rock music fan since I was a kid growing up in the 70's. Back in my early teen years almost all of my favorite bands were British. I was really into Queen, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Yes, Emerson, Lake & Palmer and King Crimson.  Even though I loved progressive rock I was a big fan of bands like Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and Black Sabbath. I have always loved a great guitarist, to me that is what makes or breaks a band.

As the 70's came to an end, I grew tired of the overblown production of some of these bands. I wanted to hear rock and roll not long drawn out,
over produced songs.

In the 80's, I was really taken by Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble.  The songs were simple but Stevie's guitar playing was the best I have ever heard. The man was one with his music. I had the pleasure of seeing him play with Gregg Allman two year before his untimely death. It was one of the best concerts I have ever been to.

I wasn't really into the whole hairband scene of the 80's. Though I did go to some bigger shows that did appeal to me. I mostly listened to local bands at small clubs.

When the 90's rolled in. I was looking for something new and different. That is when some of my favorite bands hit the scene. Alice in Chains (of course), Soundgarden, TOOL, Life of Agony, Faith No More, Pantera and later Drain STH. It was a breath of fresh air.  I still listen to current music but these bands are what I enjoy listening to the most.

Aside from being a music fan I love remodeling & decorating my home, spending time with family & friends, doing handicrafts, shopping for killer clothing deals (I have a shoe & eBay habit), collecting rare Japanese Hello Kitty dolls, swimming, working on this website and road trips to Las Vegas.

That is me in a nutshell :)
